Seatoun House, Wellington

This house was designed to fit in to the established Seatoun seaside community, as if it had always been there.

Replacing the owners former home, this altogether new house features a guiding palette of black and white materials and textures: marble, parquet, plaster, bagged and painted brick, painted and stained timbers, rumbled and polished marble, blackened, pickled and polished steel, acrylic, glass, fabrics.

Assembly worked closely with interior designers Tina Tylee and Bridget Foley to thoroughly integrate joinery, lighting, finishes, art and furnishing in this home.
