2016

Rammed Earth House in Wanaka is named one of 40 Finalists in the inaugural Terra Award  –First International Prize for Earthern Architecture.

Two of our projects were included in the New Zealand Exhibition at the Venice Architecture Biennale 2016.

Garry McCann and Mitch Holden joined the practice.

2015

Rammed Earth House in Wanaka is shortlisted for the NZIA Southern Architecture Award 2015

March 2015: Rammed Earth House in Wanaka by Assembly Architects is included in the Shortlist for the HOME New Zealand HOME of the Year 2015.  Assembly are the only South Island Architects to be included in the Shortlist.

February 2015: Louise Wright in the Te Aranga Maori panel of NZ speakers in the New Zealand Sessions of the NZIA Insitu Conference 2015

Emma Schmitz and Sandy Kong joined the practice

James Norman became a Registered Architect

January 2015: Assembly relocated to new premises at 6 Arrow Lane, Arrowtown.

January 2007: Departures & Returnings: The Third Annual Pacific Colloquium, Victoria University of Wellington  [Louise Wright (nee Ryan) presenter]

April 2007: Moved further downtown, establishing the studio at 233 Willis Street.

July 2007:  Completed the Giraffe House at Wellington Zoo for Athfield Architects Limited.

July 2007:  Justin and Louise had their first child, Sabina.

2006

April 2006: First studio established at 311 Willis Street.
